An agent is a recurring worker with a name, like your Changelog agent. Each one owns a piece of repeatable content work for your company. Every run works through its steps on its own and leaves drafts, like a Web Article and the social posts that go with it. You review them, and nothing publishes until you approve it.

Open Changelog under Agents in the sidebar to say what to announce and start a run right there.

What's available

  • Changelog turns what your team merges on GitHub into a Web Article, X and LinkedIn posts, a short video, and an X Article.

Choose More agents under Agents in the sidebar to see the ones we're building next, like Thought leadership and Customer stories.

Run now or automatically

Choose Run now to start a run whenever you have something to share. On a paid plan, turn on Run automatically beside Run now to have the agent run on its own: your Changelog agent then writes when something ships. Recurring content work belongs to agents, not automations.

A run takes a few minutes. You can leave the page, and Paragraph lets you know when your drafts are ready.

Manage agents in chat

You can also manage agents in chat. Ask Paragraph to set one up, choose its repositories and outputs, or turn automatic generation on or off. The Changelog runs when an idea is ready, rather than on a recurring clock. Ask to turn off future automatic runs while letting the current run finish when that's what you want. If a connection needs consent, complete that step before continuing setup.

Try "run my Changelog now, and focus on the editor changes." Paragraph can inspect runs and their outputs, retry a failed step, regenerate a completed run with its topic and focus, or dismiss and restore suggested topics. Archived runs keep their drafts and can be restored through chat.

Pausing an agent cancels its active runs and pauses future generation. To stop just one run, ask to stop that run. An agent that runs on its own prepares drafts; publishing still needs your team's approval.

To remove an agent, ask in chat, review the effects, choose Confirm in chat, and send the prepared confirmation. Removal stops generation and removes the agent's setup and run history. Saved drafts, media, and committed deliveries remain. A removed agent's setup can't be restored.

Review a run

Every run has its own page, listing each piece it made with a status. Pick a piece to read and edit it, change the account it posts from, or change when it goes out. Pieces appear as they're written, so you can start reviewing before the run finishes.

In Ask to change, ask to add an email from an existing Web Article without rewriting it. The new email joins this run, even if the Web Article belongs to another content group. It keeps the Web Article's words, formatting, images, and title as its subject. Its subtitle becomes the email's preheader. You still review recipients and approve delivery separately.

To drop a piece you don't want, open the menu next to Edit and choose Delete. The piece leaves the run for good and won't go out. Once the run has finished writing, you can delete any piece that isn't scheduled or already published. Unschedule a piece first to delete it.

You can also ask in chat or Ask to change to delete a selected saved draft. Review the piece and what will happen, then send its prepared confirmation. Saved drafts are archived. Deleting an unpublished article permanently removes its related drafts, comments, and notifications. Deleting an update draft keeps its parent article. Removing a video keeps its reusable project, renders, and library files. Only the selected piece's unapproved delivery is canceled; other pieces stay unchanged.

When you're happy, approve the run to schedule its pieces, or publish them right away. Scheduled pieces show up on your Calendar, where you can move or unschedule them. The Changelog page covers each control in detail.

Choose posting accounts

In an agent's run instructions, type @ to mention a connected X or LinkedIn account. Search by handle, name, or platform, then pick one. It appears as a chip, and the run uses it to decide where each post should go. Accounts that need reconnecting aren't offered. See Connections to add accounts.

Agent runs use the monthly credits included with your plan. See Plans and credits.
