Ask in plain English in chat, or use Ask to change inside an agent run. These are examples, not commands you need to memorize.

Open the piece you want to change, attach the file you want to use, or name the draft, run, and account. If your request could refer to several pieces, Paragraph asks which one you mean.

Write and edit

Ask Paragraph toTry this
Find saved work"Show me saved drafts I can reuse."
Find an article"Find the article called Product launch."
Write an article"Draft an article about this launch."
Make a newsletter from an article"Make this article a newsletter without rewriting it."
Write a separate email"Write a new email about this launch. Leave the other drafts alone."
Draft for two X accounts"Draft an X post for our company account and one for my account."
Make an X thread"Turn this launch into a three-post X thread."
Edit one thread post"Shorten the second post. Keep the others."
Draft a quote-post"Draft a quote-post from our company account about this post."
Prepare a repost"Repost this from our company account."
Draft for LinkedIn"Draft a LinkedIn post for our company page and one for my account."
Write an X Article"Draft an X Article for our company account."
Edit a saved draft"Replace the second paragraph with this."
Add a piece to a run"Add another X post to this run."
Change the account"Move this draft to our company account."
Set a LinkedIn first comment"Put the article link in the first comment, not the post."
Open a saved piece"Show me the second X post."
Delete a selected piece"Delete this draft."

New pieces are saved as drafts. Editing a selected piece updates that draft. Reposts are prepared for review before publishing. Deletion also shows a review of what will be removed.

Make and place images and videos

Ask Paragraph toTry this
Make a branded image"Make an on-brand image for this launch."
Revise an image"Make the background blue. Keep the rest."
Set an article cover"Use this image as the cover."
Place an image"Put this image after the second paragraph."
Attach an image to several drafts"Use this image on the X post, LinkedIn post, and email."
Replace those images"Use the other image on all three instead."
Make a video"Make a video for this launch."
Revise the current video"Make this video's background blue."
Rebuild the current video"Start this video over with a different story."
Add another video to a run"Add a second video to this run."
Revise an additional run video"Make this run's second video background blue."
Rebuild an additional run video"Start this run's second video over with a different story."
Attach video to a standalone X post"Attach this video to the second X post."
Target an X thread post"Put this video on the second post in the thread."
Place video in an article"Put this video after the third paragraph."
Reuse an uploaded file"Use this uploaded video in this draft."
Import a reusable file"Import this image URL into our files."
Reuse an existing image"Use the image from that draft."
Remove media"Remove the second picture."
Reorder media"Move the video before the first picture."
Replace media"Replace the first picture with this one."
Use a newer video cut"Use this newer video cut instead."
Retrieve saved media"Give me the saved video from the second X post."

You can combine changes: "Move the video before the first picture, replace that picture with this one, and remove the second picture."

Additional videos belong to an agent run. Name the run when asking from ordinary chat. A standalone chat has one video project; starting a new one replaces that chat's current video.

For a new video, Paragraph first offers format and style choices. Reply with your choices and confirm to start. Web Articles play video inline; emails and X Articles use a video link or linked thumbnail. X video attachments need MP4 or MOV. See Place and reuse media for supported files and formats.

Manage agents and runs

Ask Paragraph toTry this
Discover agents"What agents can I run?"
Set up Changelog"Set up the changelog for this repository."
Inspect settings"Show me the changelog settings."
Change future outputs and accounts"Add a newsletter and use our company X account."
Change generation settings"Turn off videos for future runs."
Enable an agent"Enable the changelog."
Pause an agent"Pause the changelog."
Resume an agent"Resume the changelog."
Start a focused run"Run the changelog about this release."
Inspect recent runs"Show me recent runs and what failed."
Check progress and outputs"What's ready in this run?"
Stop one run"Stop this run."
Retry a failed step"Retry this failed step."
Regenerate a completed run"Regenerate this run with the same topic and focus."
Archive a run"Archive this run."
Restore a run"Bring that archived run back."
Inspect suggested topics"Show me suggested topics."
Dismiss or restore a topic"Dismiss this topic." Then: "Bring it back."
Remove an agent"Remove the changelog agent."

Changelog runs manually or automatically when an idea is ready, rather than on a weekly clock. Pausing an agent also cancels its active runs. To stop just one run, name that run. Removing an agent requires confirmation; review its effects before continuing. See Manage agents in chat.

Review, schedule, and publish

Ask Paragraph toTry this
Review selected drafts"Review these drafts before we publish."
Check readiness"What's blocking this campaign?"
Approve some pieces and hold others"Approve the article and newsletter. Hold the social posts."
Inspect publishing times"When are these posts going out?"
Change a suggested time"Suggest November 24, 2026, at 10:00 America/Bogota for this post."
Schedule a selected draft"Schedule this post for November 24, 2026, at 10:00 America/Bogota."
Move a committed schedule"Reschedule this post to November 25, 2026, at 10:00 America/Bogota."
Cancel a committed schedule"Cancel this scheduled post. Keep the draft."
Change campaign order"Move the follow-up before the other X post. Keep the quote after its source."
Publish approved pieces now"Publish these two approved posts now."
Inspect delivery results"What published, and what failed?"
Retry a failed send"Retry this failed send."
Preview an email"Show me the email preview."
Send a test email"Send a test to my verified address."
Inspect approval settings"Show me our publishing approval settings."
Require approval for an account"Require approval for our company X account."
Change scheduling preferences"Prefer weekday mornings for these posts."
Move a campaign and keep its spacing"Move this campaign to November 24, 2026, at 10:00 America/Bogota. Keep the spacing."
Refresh proposed times"Suggest new times for this campaign."
Launch a whole campaign"Launch this campaign using its suggested times."
Launch ready pieces while video finishes"Launch the ready article and social posts. Leave the video pending."

Use a future date and include your timezone. Replace the example dates with the dates you want.

Suggested times do not approve a send. Before a confirmed publishing action, Paragraph shows the saved content, media, account, audience, and timing for review. Confirm that exact review to continue. Email tests also need confirmation. Connected accounts, your role, and your plan determine which actions are available.

Publishing approval settings apply to the publication and account across agents. Paragraph clarifies a request limited to one agent before changing a broader setting. See Schedule through chat.

Keep a request focused

When you want toTry this
Inspect without editing"Show me what's scheduled. Don't change anything."
Use owned files only"Find an image in our uploads. Only use our files."
Avoid external services"Use our saved drafts. Don't use external services."
Create a separate piece"Write a new email. Leave the existing drafts alone."
Limit an edit"Change only the second paragraph. Keep the images and account."
